PRAY FOR TURKEY
Sharing God’s Love in a Time of Desperate Need
We thank God for enabling us to extend His love to His children in Turkey during this time of immense crisis. Over 50,000 lives have been lost, and millions have been left homeless in both Turkey due to the devastating earthquakes.
God gave us a clear direction to help those affected—and in obedience, we began our relief efforts on February 16, 2023. Starting in Antakya, Hatay, we have since extended our support to other severely impacted regions, including Pazarcık, Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, and beyond.
By His grace, we’ve been able to bless hundreds during their most desperate hours. We invite you to partner with us in this crucial mission of compassion and hope. Let us continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in Turkey and Syria as they walk through this season of deep sorrow and rebuilding.
Thank you for standing with us and with those in need.

RELIEF HELPS IN HATAY REGION
The Hatay region is one of the most severely affected areas in Turkey. Located near the Syrian border, it includes the historic biblical city of Antioch, now known as Antakya. This city was hit especially hard by the earthquake.
In response, we focused our efforts on helping families in this area by providing essential food supplies that would support them for two weeks during this critical time of need.

HELPING SYRIAN REFUGEES
Thousands of Syrian refugees living in the Hatay region lost their lives in the devastating earthquake. Those who survived are now living in tents, along with their children and elderly parents, facing harsh conditions and uncertainty.
We were led to reach out to them in their time of great need, and by God’s grace, we were able to provide essential food supplies to support and uplift them during this difficult season.

KAHRAMANMARAŞ
We were also able to extend help to families in the cities of Pazarcık and Kahramanmaraş. Many people, unable to secure tents, had taken shelter in damaged buildings, risking their lives.
By God’s grace, we not only provided them with essential food supplies, but also warned them not to remain in the unsafe structures—just before a 6.4 magnitude aftershock struck. That timely guidance helped save the lives of those families in Pazarcık, and we are grateful to have been led to intervene at such a critical moment.

OUR TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS
We were blessed to have a multinational team of volunteers serving on the ground. The team was made up primarily of leaders from Turkey, India, Central Asia, and other nations—many of whom were already based in Turkey and closely connected with us in the work.
Their cultural understanding, local presence, and unity in purpose played a vital role in reaching and serving those in need effectively and compassionately.

A Quick update from Turkey
Field Update from Turkey – February 2023
Praise the Lord, and thank you for your prayers.
I arrived in Turkey on the night of February 15th at 11 PM, and since February 16th, I’ve been on the ground in the earthquake-affected areas, helping those in desperate need.
The Ongoing Crisis
The situation here is extremely severe and continues to be dangerous, as aftershocks above 5.0 and even 5.5 magnitudeare still occurring in many regions. Because of these tremors, already damaged buildings are collapsing, putting lives at continued risk.
Some cities are completely destroyed. Most people have been evacuated, while many others are staying in tents in open fields and grounds, exposed to harsh winter weather.
Rescue operations are still ongoing—even today, a few people were pulled out alive. Please continue to pray for those still trapped. Sadly, many have passed away, and their bodies remain under the rubble.
The Survivors' Struggle
While many survivors have found shelter in tents, there are still families without proper shelter, forced to stay in damaged and unsafe buildings. I’ve met such families, spoken with them, and strongly advised them to move out—but with temperatures dropping below zero degrees Celsius and limited tent availability, they have no other choice. Please keep these families in your prayers.
Moments with the People
Despite their pain and loss, the people welcomed us with smiles. In some places, they even offered a cup of tea from their simple tents.
Children and young people eagerly approach me to share their stories and experiences, while the elderly and adults often come forward, grasping my hands in gratitude for our visit and support.
Our Relief Efforts
We’ve been distributing food packages to families staying in tents—items that are either ready to eat or easy to cook. These are making a meaningful difference in such dire circumstances.
I sincerely thank each one of you who are praying for this work, and I extend a special thank you to all those who are partnering with us in this mission. Please continue to pray that people’s immediate needs will be met.
Personal Note & Prayer Request
Over the past few days, I’ve driven more than 1,600 kilometers, traveling from village to village, city to city—covering the hardest-hit regions. Physically, I’m tired, but I press on during the day to encourage those affected.
At night, in prayer, I often find myself weeping before the Lord, asking for His mercy and grace to be poured out on this land and its people.
Please continue to pray for Turkey. Kindly lift up this nation and its people in your church services, prayer meetings, and personal devotions.
Thank you again. Praise the Lord.
Update – February 21, 2023
Dear Friends,
Kindly keep me and my team in your prayers as we prepare to head to the Kırıkhan region of Hatay, Türkiyetomorrow to continue our relief efforts.
By God's grace, I am safe—and I’m thankful to report that all our team members and friends are also safe following yesterday’s 6.4 magnitude earthquake. Please continue to pray for protection, as the region remains unstable.
Due to limited internet access and other on-ground challenges, I’m currently unable to share photos or videos, but I will provide updates as soon as I’m able.
Thank you once again for your continued prayers and support.

Thank you for your prayers for Turkey.
Praise god for the helps God has enables us to do last two weeks.
Protection
I thank God for the supernatural protection from the continuous earthquakes (aftershocks) and protection from possible diseases and protection in our long journeys everyday.
Provision
Everyday someone is inspired by the Holy Spirit to sow a seed of faith and through that God is meeting the needs of his people. We are able to continue our helps for hundreds of people everyday until now.
Precent condition
It’s heartbreaking to see what people have to go through because of this disaster. This week we met people who are staying under plastic covers on the field in below zero degree celcius with their children and elderly people.
Packages
We are giving every family a pack of food materials which is ready to eat or easy to cook. And we are giving basic toiletries.
People’s response
Usually people come and gather our vehicles when we stop as they know some help is coming for them. They don’t have cars or any other mode of transportations and there no shops near by. That’s why our help become very crucial specially for those who are bit away from cities or towns.
Prayer points
Pray for continued protection
